You are responsible for the analysis of labour utilisation and contract performance
reviewing charge out rates in line with agreed contracts against internal and external payroll costs. Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts and supporting the existing finance team as required.
Main Responsibilities:
•Preparation of weekly payroll costing sheets for submission to payroll using timesheets
•Production/review of labour utilisation figures and reconciliation of hours to payroll
•Verify subcontractor invoices against timesheets
•Generation of sales invoice valuations using timesheet data and contract charge rates
•Production/review of chargeable hours and value against paid hours and cost
•Posting monthly journal entries
•Assisting with Balance Sheet reconciliations
•Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
•Analysis of nominal ledger accounts
•National Statistics returns
•Any other duties as required within the Finance department

JSK Recruitment based in South Lanarkshire are looking to appoint a Time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our Global Client based in South Lanarkshire.
The Maintenance Engineer will have responsibility for equipment engineering problem solving and the maintenance and repair of plant facilities such as lighting, plumbing, power supplies, furniture and fittings.
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to overtime, call out and shift working patterns to support maintenance needs.
The main requirements will be:
•Candidate should be self motivated, be able to work unsupervised and have excellent organisational skills, working through tasks set out by the Maintenance Team
•Ability to forward plan, work to dead lines and a proactive approach to a busy workload is essential
•Have a working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
•Have ability to put in place PPM schedules hence a working knowledge of plant machinery is mandatory providing a solid link between production and maintenance
•The candidate will have good communication and keyboard skills, including good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages and Lotus Notes
•Ideally, the candidate will have worked in a manufacturing environment.
•Experience within the printing industry will be extremely advantageous, particularly knowledge of printing equipment, repair and maintenance

DUTIES
Analysis of pump and ancillary components and structures for stress and distortion due to internal loadings, external loadings and thermal effects. Carry out drive train rotor analyses including torsional and lateral critical speed calculations. Create technical specifications for the procurement of sub-supplier equipment ensuring specification compliance and practical engineering is accommodated. Liaise with customers and suppliers worldwide on technical matters, ensuring specification compliance, integrity of interfacing information and sound engineering practice is being applied. Ensure that applied design and engineering procedures are in accordance with Company Standards, Department Procedures and Quality Management Systems. Ensure timely implementation of all design/technical requirements to satisfy project goals. Contribute to continual improvement process through feedback and active resolution of problems of a technical nature to the appropriate area of responsibility
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years relevant experience in detailed engineering and technical management of rotating machinery, preferably pumps. Alternatively an HNC in Mechanical Engineering with at least 6 years relevant experience in detailed engineering and technical management of rotating machinery, preferably pumps.
Awareness in the application of regulatory standards and design codes for pressure boundary components and other international engineering guidelines relative to the pumping industry, including material selection.
Practical knowledge and experience in mechanical assemblies and packaging of equipment.
To be aware of the importance of relevant time, cost, quality and planning factors involved in engineering projects and ensure that all activities are completed within target in terms of scope, detail, cost and timescale.
